COCONA® NON-WOVEN INSULATION
Cocona® Non-Wovens provide better insulation by weight
THE END-USE CHALLENGE:
• Non-woven insulation is used to increase the R-value of fabrics creating a higher level of thermal resistance for the resultant fabric. The non-woven is used as a barrier between two fabrics.
• The thermal resistance of the non-woven can be reduced when the non-woven becomes wet. Further, once the non-woven is wet, the drying times of these non-wovens are long.
THE COCONA PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGE:
• Cocona® non-woven insulation use Cocona® polyester fibers and the patented Cocona® finishing process to facilitate moisture transfer and accelerate drying. This results in a faster recovery time when the non-wovens become wet.
• Cocona® non-wovens have an enhanced R-value over ordinary polyester non-wovens. This yields a non-woven with superior thermal properties
